How DVC Renting Works

Owners.
Disney Vacation Club (DVC) is a program that allows individuals to purchase a membership for upwards of $30,000 - $40,000. This entitles the member to stay at various DVC resorts each year. Unlike other DVC Rental sites, we own all the memberships we rent out. This allows renters to work directly with the owner, instead of a middle man and save thousands by renting instead of owning.

Renters.
Whether you have rented before or not, anybody can! Renters submit a rental form for the dates they want to visit along with the room type and number of guests. If available, renters will submit a deposit of $100. Once the booking is confirmed the renter will pay the remaining balance.
The Details.

Cost.
DVC bookings are done in points. Each night costs a set amount of points. It can go up or down based on the size and view of the room. Renters pay $23 a point. An easy calculation of cost is: $23 x # of points for room = Total Cost. You can see our Cost Calculator page to see what your stay would cost.

Request Submission.
When you’re ready to submit a rental request, just fill out our online form. You’re going to need to know the dates you want to stay, number of adults and children, the room type you want along with the view/location (see DVC Room Types for details). A deposit of $100 will also be paid with you request. If we are unable to fulfill your request within 48 hrs this will be returned to you.

Fulfillment & Confirmation.
Once we receive your request and deposit we will get to work fulfilling it. If we do find availability it will be confirmed. We will then send you the booking confirmation number along with a payment request for the rest of the amount owed. This is due immediately and payable through various online methods including PayPal and Stripe.

Link & Check-In
After making your payment you will be able to link your booking to your My Disney Experience account online or to any applicable online service or app for your resort. 60 days prior to arrival you will be able to check-in to your resort online. You can make room requests at this time.

Changes.
Once your booking is confirmed we are able to make a few changes to it if needed. Name changes are fine if mis-spelled. Replacing or removing a guest is fine too. We can add guests as long as you don’t go over the allotted amount of guests allowed for the room. We are unable to change dates, resorts or room type/location after the booking has been confirmed.

Cancellations.
Because DVC owners are subject to cancellation penalties with their points, once a booking has been confirmed, it cannot be cancelled. We recommend all Renters to purchase Travel Insurance to protect their vacation.
